Distraction therapy

Well today did not go as planned - snow first thing was lovely but we very quickly realised Cassie was no better and her trip to the vet at 9 ended up with her having another x- ray which showed a possible blockage.
So lunch with my quilt group for mum and I cancelled and it was off to the e-vet service with the wee cat. Our vets close at midday on Saturday so didn’t want to operate. Which turned out to be a good thing as the e-vet did an ultrasound which showed that there isn’t a blockage ( although there may be an underlying as yet unidentified problem). She’s now eating well again having had the constipation cleared and will hopefully be home tomorrow. We only heard this about 30 minutes ago though.
As a result I spent all afternoon making a Christmas cushion cover - the green one. The gnome one Mum made for me years ago:)
