Smoke Signals?

Used my phone as a telescope today so that I could have a closer look at this plume rising from the horizon. It looked like cloud to the naked eye, but I'm guessing it was more likely smoke. As it's the only photo I took today, I'm deeming it silly enough to be my Saturday blip

Another bitterly cold day, where our shivers were rewarded by sunshine and blue skies - worthwhile compensation. The local branch of the family came over for a couple of hours this afternoon, which was nice. Half an hour earlier, I'd experienced a migraine aura. Took a Migraleve tablet straight away. My sight soon returned to normal, and I only have the slightest threat of a headache; "nothing to write home about"!

Looking forward to an evening of knitting in cosy warmth.
