Whitby Book Shop

What a lovely way to spend our wedding anniversary.

Breakfast in the Sanders Yard, a wander around town, a stop off in the book shop for Mrs Smith to sign some of her books which have been flying off the shelves apparently. Then a walk up to West Cliff for the views. Before watching Portugal succumb to Morocco.

Then, when in Whitby, it’s essential to visit the Magpie Cafe. After way too much food we trundled back to The Folly to light the fire with the aim of staying awake long enough to watch the England v France game.
