The Countryside in Winter

Another very cold day. A lazy blip today, taken through a window. The silhouette of the bare branches against a wintry, December sky seemed to convey the mood of the countryside in Winter. The woodpigeon perched on one of the branches sat motionless for most of the afternoon.
