Icy

Up to find a very icy road and car... took it very carefully but still skidded off on a very icy slope - luckily there was an escape route across the verge. Freezing fog early but cleared to sunshine later. When on duty I noticed that the tennis net on the courts had led to a frosty net shape where the sun hadn't quite managed to melt the frost. Fish and chips for dinner and then headed home early. Football to end the week. Just one week to go, but have picked up a very sore throat that's going round which is not ideal, although better to have it now than next Friday when my holiday starts.
