His first job as was to announce the Queen’s Jubilee, his second to announce her death, and the third to announce the funeral. Quite a start to his inaugural year.
The next one will be the Coronation of the new King Charles.
As he is the first one ever appointed by the village, his uniform is quite pristine.
We have spent time with Stephen’s brother Andrew and his wife Helen today, who live in the village.
