Manifesto

Another day, another coffee shop.

A cold day, I suppose it is winter in December. Difference today is that it was a crisp, sunny and non damp day, rather than the energy sapping grey and damp days.

We had yet another trip, third in three days, to bloody Primark! Taking one for the team says Laura my daughter. The queue was horrendous but S stood in it with the black long sleeve top exchange while I carried out a Christmas jumper search for Cameron. Seemingly McDonalds let the staff wear a Christmas jumper at this time of year. I sent him a pic of one and he was happy with it. He’s not a labels junkie (thankfully), only remit was he had to like it . By the time I went back S was half way round the queue. I felt the urge to manage the queue though, numpties who seem to forget they are at the top of the queue and ignore the folks at the till shouting NEXT! Too busy on phones rather than being aware. It’s the same folk that walk right into you as you are walking straight on the High Street and they want to go into a shop on your left as they cross from your right like we have to stop for them. Be aware. I can make exceptions for the oldies or disabled but not the GP.

Popped into Manifesto on the way to the car. Great coffee and believe it or not made with oat milk. You just wouldn’t know it wasn’t dairy.

Mum had an appointment at the Optician. Left eye has some blood vessel movement she will get a letter from the Eye Hospital at Ninewells for possible injections in the eye again. We brought her here for roast chicken tea. She wanted to take us out but have exhausted the places with fish on the menu and with her eye issues she better going to a place in daylight and the ‘half dark’ in restaurants in the evenings isn’t great for her.
