Build a pony!
We had a moment of magic this morning! Miss Pink had some birthday money from her Uncle Pink, and it was set aside for going to build a bear. Our mornings play date plan had been scupper end as Miss Pinks friend was poorly with chicken pops, so we seized the moment and headed to town.
Miss Pink was so excited at the thought of going to get her teddy, and almost burst when she saw Hello Kitty and My little Pony "teddies" to make.
It was a lovely experience; being a Thursday the staff weren't busy and we had a staff member all to our selves. He made Miss Pink feel very special, and the look on her face as she went through the making process was magical.
She chose a pinkie pie pony that she renamed Bon Bon. First she chose music to go inside, then came the stuffing. And then the bit that was the cutest - the heart ceremony. We gave Bon Bon a "bath" and found some very cute and sparkly clothes for her to wear, and then made her birth certificate.
Miss Pink was throughout all of this utterly cute, and completely overjoyed with the experience.
The lady at the till let her have some pretty bows for Bon Bon's hair, mummy had better learn to braid pretty quick. So much fun - thank you Uncle Pink!
The rest of the day, while not so magical, was also pretty good. I had a messy church planning meeting that went well, and then Mr Pink was able to take the minis to master Pinks swimming lesson to allow me some sewing time.
Hoorah for pink ponies!
