Friday in Santa Cruz

SoozaDay's knitting group met today. They meet every Friday at each others' houses. Today it was at M's rambling, art-filled house, and it was her 80th birthday. She and L show off their hand-painted jeans and she models the shawl her daughter knit for her birthday. It's a great group of women and I'm always glad to join them when I'm down here on a knitting day.
A long, walk up to the campus with MisterS this morning, and in the afternoon, an amble through the neighborhood with SoozaDay: a couple of reasons I love coming down here.
