pikes peak

to be precise - it was too glorious to - pass by although - i did debate it - only because it’s friday - and my typical friday - routine is to post - a flower for the - flowerfriday challenge and - when i’d last glanced - at the peak nothing - was happening at all - i mean it was - boring so i thought - all was clear

and then in usual - colorada fashion there was - a sudden burst - of color slipping up behind - the peak; just that - subtle glow, if you know - what i mean - so i waited a minute - which is all it took - and all it lasted - within moments the - peak was silhouetted - in this magnificent - and most wonderful - golden glow so i snapped - and just as i - thought about getting - my other camera - for a better shot - the glow dissipated - and was gone

so you might notice - some noise since it’s - from my phone - but i don’t care - this is a simple - hand-painted illustration by abba - of our mountain range - on the planet - it doesn’t get any - better than that - it only leads to…
