Inside / Outside

Outside the snow was falling, inside it felt cosy.
A plumber arrived today and fixed the toilet to the floor in the Red House bathroom, a fairly easy and quick job. However, it is the final job in the renovation of the Red House bathroom.
It's been a long project. The damage happened at the end of May, work started in July, and now it's finally finished!!
We spent this afternoon in the Red House sorting out and setting up, and getting ready for our first visitors in 2023.
While we were doing that our new slow cooker was doing its stuff, preparing a sort of ratatouille for our dinner. It's the first time we've used a slow cooker and we were impressed. It'll be getting a lot more usage!
Now it's 11 o'clock at night and the snow is still falling outside, and it's still cosy inside.
