Bank Holiday Flowers

With OH out of action with a bug, and the weather uninspiring, any plans for an awayday trip this BH were set aside. Took the wee man out to Queen's Park but he fell asleep within 5 minutes, so I spent an hour getting to grips with the new camera, and making plans for my birthday in a couple of months.

The lens is pretty good at closeups: this is a flower among the reeds at the small pond. Awaiting the delivery of my zoom lens now...
