Gaspard

This morning we picked out our Christmas tree at the Apprentis d'Auteuil (local) Christmas market. The people who helped us to select it were very nice. They thought it was pretty funny that we wanted to bring it home in our grocery buggy - a genius idea, if you ask me. We have named it "Gaspard" mostly because the woman who sold it to us insisted that it had so much character it deserved a name, and on the way to the market I happened to be telling Therese that the topic of conversation at the hair stylist on Tuesday was how popular the name Gaspard has become... an observation that surprised me since I don't know any "Gaspard"!
