Today's the day ....................... to freeze

A beautiful day here today - but I doubt it went much above zero degrees all day and tonight, apparently, we can expect it to go down to -5°C.

It was icy blue down at Kirkcudbright Harbour (see extra) with quite a few of the fishing boats moored up and unloading their catches.  The above are some of the old metal dredging chains that were covered in ice crystals and looking very chilly.

Ah well - that's December for you ......................
