Amber Glow

Another heavy frost this morning. The sun didn’t appear until we were part way through our dog walk, and it transformed the world around us.

I had the day off work so later we popped into Havant to get some Christmas cards and to have lunch at The Spring arts centre. The cafe was busy which was good to see after the struggle they had to survive through Covid closures.

This afternoon I spent an hour at the allotment (putting manure onto some of the beds) and then walked the dog (this needs to happen mid-afternoon on these short winter days). I’ve written and posted most of my Christmas cards which need to go via Royal Mail.

Andy’s watching the football this evening so I’ll probably find a quiet corner and read a book or listen to a podcast.
