Frozen canal

I took Ada to school today, she was in her reindeer jumper as they were doing a Santa dash. It was -4 when I got in my car.
I went and did my shopping and was just walking in a shop when the hail stones arrived. They didn't melt as it was too cold, just hope they don't freeze too much and end up slippery. 
I saw the canal looking like this as I drove home so after lunch I went back and took photos. Then took my car to be washed as I was getting dirty getting in it the time Simon always said was time to be cleaned.
