The last rose

Another cold day with glorious sunshine.
Not must frost in the fields round here although the birds water was frozen solid.

Farm shopping this morning and after lunch started clearing things in the lounge ready to put the tree up. However got broken off with a visit from our eldest grandson and partner.
They were on their home from an indoor skydiving experience in Manchester. Sounded great fun. They were enjoying a day to themselves while Jude was at nursery.

So we were late with the tree, but managed to bring it in before it got dark. Had to break the ice in the bucket first!
All the lights are on. Sunday Hannah and Jennie are coming to help me put the baubles on. Beginning to look a bit like Christmas.
