Grey Heron
The young one flew over to, and landed on, the fence surrounding the park this morning. As I went in she jumped down and ran to meet me! About half way through feeding her, she took off and moments later a dog appeared. I made my way to the edge off the loch where I could see her waiting. It was very cold again and more of the loch was frozen. I finished feeding her and made my way round to the male. I fed him and of course the crows. Then made my way home. I will take some extra food tomorrow and see if I can spot the youngest male at the other side of the loch, as he will struggle in this weather.
