I Want a Pet

Our daughter left her puppy here when she left for her home in Sunriver, Oregon; she thought Bear would like Ellie to play with him. She was right, they play nice together. The trouble is that Ellie wants to have her own puppy and that is not the desire of her family. Life is complicated enough at my son's home already and as much as he would love a pet, it would be an added responsibility and complication for Mike. Does that sound unfair?
