Thursday: Belize City Waterfront

It’s been a full day in Belize City with lots of meetings.  I’ve also had lots of food. Lunch was at a restaurant where we had pretty nice views of the waterfront.

I’m with my deputy and a visit UK colleague.  We had our first Christmas invitation of the year so are all staying over.  We’re trying a new hotel and there are currently about 100 birds roosting outside my room.  I feel like Tippi Hedren.

Belize City is below sea level which is why hurricanes are so nerve wracking here.
