Sliding signets

Brrr! It hasn’t thawed for a few days and the lagoon at Park End Moss has frozen over. The signets were not happy and finally slid off into a flight away. The moorhens had a small pool that they were guarding fiercely, and a few snipe and a marsh harrier were around.
The woods were really frosty in places. 
We were glad to get home to our fire.
