Christmas at the Hospital.

Today Kanyl had a follow up appointment after his hand op earlier in the year.  So bright and early, well early anyway we were up and getting ready.  We picked him up and had a good run over to Hexham.  Amazingly he was called as soon as he arrived and was out round about the time he should have been going in.  Everything was as the surgeon wanted.

Knowing I would have little chance to blip for the rest of the day I took this shot of the Christmas tree and decoration on one of the hospital wings.  Clickychick suggested she should sit on the bench reading, perhaps I was wrong to decline.

The evening was taken up with a talk at the local Wildlife trust support group.  A gentleman from Lowther estates was explaining their Wild Farming practices and the changes that had happened in the wildlife in a very short period of time.  Fascinating.
