Frantic tidying up

Woke to snow falling this morning, not very heavily but enough to make driving to work a little tricky. I made it work without incident thankfully.

A few deliveries today meant we kept the volunteers mostly busy. Still confused by the random stuff members of the public donate to our gift appeal. Today’s haul included a dog harness, a Christmas pudding dog toy, a tin of hotdogs and miscellaneous WWF notebooks and coasters made up into neat little packages. There were also several second hand items which we really cannot give to a child as if they were new. We will pass these on to bigger organisations to use in community centres where possible.

Home to sort out the spare room for our friends arriving tomorrow. Shower and bathroom cleaned, downstairs loo tidied. Cooker cleaned and cooker hood polished. Dining room emptied if all non essential items. Pictures rehung in the hall (Mr PHL’s painting job looks fabulous) and pictures finally hung in the kitchen!

In between times I did the ironing (watched over by Phin) and pulled together this blip for today’s challenge. Thanks to Ingeborg for hosting. 2 of my hobbies combined with a selfie - crochet and music festivals.
