Colour work in progress

How to get completely confused - decide to tackle a cheerful 2 colour hat, and then realise that it needs 2 balls of the main colour and one of the contrast. Unfortunately the pattern is the mirror image of my available wool, so I need to see blue, then knit white.  I am slowly making progress.
