Early morning in Whitby
We headed across a rather snowy North York Moors this morning to visit the Christmas Tree Festival at St Mary’s Whitby. We were a little wary of icy paths and steps. Just a few detours on the way but by the time we came out the temperatures had risen.
Lovely to see such a mix of trees see extra. Rather liked the tree made up of waste collected from the beach. The Whale was situated by the bridge. However it was the light on the Lifeboat and the buildings up to the church that caught my eye.
Home in time for lunch and for Richard to get to an blood test appointment at the surgery.
