Cold and frosty morning here in beautiful Gloucestershire and the plants all had an icy coating.

Seeing the really fab weather forecast for Bushy Park last night I was hard pushed/ no gutted actually  not to tootle up there but with 3 hours sleep and the kids arriving early Friday I thought better of it and at that moment actually fell asleep. 

Tilly I brought home last night . Awful doesn't even cut it. She had on a jumper/coat thingy to stop her scratching the 5" wound on her side however once you have been out on cold wet long grass and been to the loo everything is very wet soggy and dirty. She trapped both her back legs in it got herself into a right state in and started growling and biting as I needed to try gently to get the whole thing off. To no avail I might add. After ringing the vet with her in a lot of distress I plied her with paracetamol and cut the rear of the coat off. Sorted but this has been condensed somewhat.

Hubs for the first time since Brexit has had a smooth transition over and back from France and the kids are on the way to the airport in NY. Tilly is all good but Poppy is lying there thinking she should deffo be ill to get the attention ..swings and roundabouts.
