Pretty tracery

Below freezing weather for Green Gym this morning.  I had so many layers on I looked like Michelin man.
The County Deputy Lieutenant came to chat to us as our group has been nominated for a top volunteering award.  She seemed to be suitably impressed!  Time will tell.
My friend's daughter is having an all day operation tomorrow to remove the tumour on her brain.  She is coming to me for lunch to try and take her mind off it.  The surgeon is confident, but obviously had to explain that the outcome may not be good.  An operation is the only option available as the tumour is so large.  It has all happened so quickly as she hasn't had obvious symptoms, but it is thought that it has been growing for years.
