Sunset
It does not take long for the sun to start setting up here. The sun rises at around 8.45am and this photo was taken at 3.15pm.
A cold day with the threat of snow showers not far away. The mountains had a sprinkle on them with more expected over the next few days.
We went to Avoch and bought a vegetable soup and a Christmas Panini to share. We drove down to the point and had our lunch in the car.We were joined by a gull and Robin looking hopefully through the window. They were out of luck.
Drove onto Udale bay and Cromarty. Got some egg box eggs , might be enough until after Christmas. Had a look in the craft and pottery shop. Bought Mike’s mums birthday card and an ornament of a little man carrying balloons for us out of our Christmas money. I thought I recognised the potters work so asked the lovely young lady behind the till if she had an info. She had his name so I looked him up on line , Andrew Bull. Although his website said he has been ‘ in business for 36 hours ‘ and from Faversham ! we have a few of his pieces that we’ve had for about 30 years which we got from Oad Street Craft shop which is near my Mum’s.
Great news from Dalscone Farmer Joe and Fi have had a baby son :)
