Kite vs crow

In the woods behind the yard I ride at, there are a couple of breeding pairs of red kites. I didn't realise how huge they were until one flew close to me as I was riding- I guess on a horse I'm less of a threat.
They seem to fight with the local crows a lot, and I managed to get a pic just after this one has scared the crow away. Unfortunately I didn't get my camera into sports mode to do continous shots quickly enough, and I was a bit slow on the shutter- I was really aiming for more of an action shot! Will have to take my camera with me more often and hope to catch them scrapping again.
