Sand Nativity

We took the local bus to Las Palmas at 9am.
( We had tried to do this yesterday, but had not realised it was a public holiday ! )
We went to the Santa Ana cathedral and lit candles in memory of my Mum. See extra . The old town is really beautiful.
We then took a bus to the north of the city and went to the city beach to see the amazing sand sculptures.
There was a heavy downpour of rain , and the roads were flooded on our return journey to Maspolomas.

In the evening there was a tribute band to El Divo - called Frequencies . They were excellent . I had a piña colada to celebrate our last night of our holiday.
I need to see a Dr when I return home as I still have bronchitis. The weather back home is getting really cold . My lungs struggle in cold weather.
