Tree bombing?

 I walked past the Stockbridge Christmas tree this morning on my way to work to see how it was progressing. There are some lights on it, although not actually lit. Some kind person has put some lovely handmade decorations on it - brightly coloured pom-poms on pieces of wood. They’re really pretty, so I hope they stay there, even if they only cover a very small part of the tree.

Passed the tree on my way home again - still not lit, but the decorations are still there.
