Winter sunshine and frost!

It was very cold this morning...

This was the view from our upstairs sitting room about 10am this morning.

Bright Winter sunshine on the river Derwent, and thick frost in our garden still.

Quite a contrast!

There are 210,000 BBC weather watchers ( people who's photos appear on National BBC weather ). One of my photos was considered for photo of the Autumn season, but it didn't quite make it. Not bad though out of 210,000 weather watchers!
