Springslade Track

What a day to be out and about.  I started at sunrise capturing the extra along the local Canal towpath before heading on to Cannock Chase for a walk.

The conditions were wonderful.  A hard frost, bright sunshine and occasional mist and fog patches which only added to the atmosphere.  While the sunrise shot is more typical of my choices, I just loved the subtlety of this view down an old green lane, now gated off from traffic.  The pastel colours and softness of scene make this a completely different view from normal.
