messing about on the Canal

Well, Kirkintilloch IS the Canal Capital of Scotland, you know. (I think they had run out of all other titles that really would apply to kirkie by the time someone said 'we could have that one' )

A lovely evening of canal boating with Seagull Trust and 2 lots of people from a local church. Almost no midges were around. This made me happy.

This boat is the Yarrow, originally built and recently renovated with help from apprentices in Yarrow ship builders.
