Porty pre Dawn
Up with the birds were we when we arrived at Porty before dawn this morning. The forecasters got it correct- it was cold as we bared almost all and walked a good way across to Fife at low tide to reach the water but the sea was certainly not at its coldest, although we only stayed in about 7minutes. It best to get out before hands in their neoprene gloves get too numb.
The tootsies had a visit to the chiropodist after we got home. On the way, an appointment to get my hair trimmed was made and some Christmas cards posted. Three ticks in the ‘to do’ box.
I also got a parcel delivery from Yorkshire which contained a food survival kit for Christmas Day……. If it lasts until then. I’m not sure the chocolate will.
It feels strange not to have had any Christmas card deliveries so far this year. Either it’s because Royal Mail are on strike here or people have given up on cards because of the uncertainty of delivery or the impressive price of stamps.
