Jeopardy

So I set my alarm to get to the tennis courts by noon today, only to be entering the shower to have Debjit say hey can we do a later time. Would have loved to sleep an extra hour, but whatever. Played tennis for 2 hours and after I was beat.

Later I went over to Drew's for a BBQ thing, got there at 8pm and was expecting to be there an hour... well 4.5 hours later I finally left. Drew has a lot of interesting friends, his one friend Art had majored in 3 things along w/2 minors at the same time - he's currently getting his PHd in Chemistry. He said it takes on average 5-7 years - I never knew exactly how long a PHD took, wow.

Anyways, it was nice to talk to w/them and what not... Came home only to realize that I forgot cat food! Smokey didn't forget. Luckily my cat consultant told me to go to CVS and get some wet food and that she'd be fine until I could get her regular brand in the morning... so that's what I did and she's very happy right now =)

This blip is a short tunnel under Lake Shore Drive that you have to walk through to get to the courts/lake on the other side. I really like this blip as well. Makes me think of that Aerosmith song (amazing?) where at the end he says, the light at the end of the tunnel may be you... good night.... Or he says something like that.
