Scene of the works

One of the many sources of frustration in Edinburgh at the moment is the partial closure of North Bridge to south north bound traffic. This messes up my buses home. There is also only one pavement open, which resulted in a lot of overcrowding in the summer and moderate overcrowding even now.

As I got a No 16 bus up to Waverley Steps, I had the opportunity to get a shot of the Bridge showing the work being done underneath this side.

A busy day in the office making progress on several fronts.
