Mono Macro Hoverfly

A mono hoverfly for MaryElizaR's challenge today. 
I took the shot before I knew the theme so it was lucky it was easy to adapt to B & W .

We went to a very enjoyable luncheon today. 
Local, much esteemed businessman, Tom Colless OAM has retired. He started his frozen foods wholesale business in 1954 and ran it continuously, with the help of his wife, Nancy, for 68 years. 
At the age of 92 he has decided to close the doors and take a holiday, which he hasn't had for 11 years. So he hosted lunch at the Carrington Hotel for about 80 people. 
Tom felt strongly that if you have a business in a community you have a responsibility to give back to that community. He has certainly done that in many ways.
