I had an incredibly busy day at work today; it was Elf Day, the day we have volunteers in to help us wrap up approx. 700 Christmas gifts for our inpatients. This year went much more smoothly than last, as all the volunteers actually turned up, they worked really efficiently, and I had Katie to help me with packing everything ready for deliveries. It was a long and tiring day though, with a lot of lifting, running around, carrying etc., so I was very glad that Rich, Phil and I had already planned to pop to the new North Taproom at Snow Hill after work. Even better, Jack joined us too! I had a lovely beer, a lovely rum, a lovely mulled cider (so festive!) and some yummy gyoza, so it was a pretty successful evening.
