Is the Storm Over?

We bought a Christmas tree this afternoon to start the holiday season! Right now it's out in the laundry room in a bucket, waiting for Treekeeper to install it tomorrow. And I started to put lights outside in the front yard, although the next door neighbor's display lights up half a block all by itself, and my bright little pear tree will be redundant. But I'm a sucker for little twinkling lights and the pear tree looks cold and shivery without them.
