Dubai Mall cupcake craziness

On a whim, we decided to take our trio to Dubai Mall. Friday is the first day of the weekend here and things don't start getting busy until the afternoon. I noticed Oscar longingly watching a little boy and his daddy eating a cupcake beside the pool yesterday, so we decided to go to Bloomsbury's for our own!

Oscar and Bailee were steered toward the most plain we could see: Key Lime Pie. Stu had 'Raspberry Temptation' and coffee and I had 'Go Nuts for Adil' and a wonderful Jasmine green tea. Maple had milk! Shockingly, the twins barely broke through the top of the meringue on their cupcakes..... Bailee said, "Too sweet" and after about 10 minutes of trying, Oscar said, "Oscar no want that anymore". Mummy and daddy ate all theirs but they were extra rich and I almost regretted it afterwards.

We had a good look around the mall. Osh Kosh had a sale so Oscar chose a triceratops t-shirt and brown surfboard-print board shorts. Bailee was insistent on a yellow dress. Her size wasn't available, but luckily mummy noticed one hanging up behind the counter in her size! They were both delighted and it was difficult to stop them stripping off there and then. Maple got some 12 month body suits and a cute cotton dress outfit.

It was a very successful trip; all three are at a delightful age. I keep having to check Maple as we hardly heard a peep from her the whole trip. This was probably the most at ease we have felt with them all out at a mall for any extended period of time.

Maple's top tooth still hasn't broken through yet. She is crawling around everywhere now and pulling herself up onto things.
