Cotoneaster

We have a very smelly house at present as the new doors are being treated with oil. It's bringing out the warmth and grain of the wood beautifully but stinks - and they have to have 3 coats.
I did get a brief respite in the morning when putting out the washing (and brought it in later almost dry) and we were out in the afternoon and early evening. It's fairly dry now and less smelly.
Cold a bright today and we had a lovely, though chilly run, in the park this evening.
I noticed the orange leaves when out in the garden where I picked a few rasps and 3 yellowing tomatoes, I'll see if they ripen indoors
