Memories
We travelled from Lincolnshire to Lancashire yesterday and back to Lincolnshire today to go to the funeral of my late aunt's' husband who has died aged 103. So many people had memories of him as he had been a local GP in the days when GPs knew their patients and families and did their own night cover too. But GP duties are so different now with more targets, paperwork, government directives etc. Those of us old enough to remember the old days look back favourably on those days and certainly lots of his patients did. So he had a good send off and had had a great life over the 103 years of his life.. So when we got home I lit my advent candle for memories of him and my aunt when they were fit and well in their heyday!
