First Day

I was at my desk like a keen bean this morning only to spend the first hour or so mostly frustrated with technology that wouldn't work and getting steadily more downhearted that my first day wasn't going to plan. Eventually I was able to get onto my laptop to join my first meeting. It was a morning of meeting different people, finding out more about the organisation and generally feeling a little overwhelmed.

Thankfully, Eva came round on my lunch break so that I could take some pictures of her for her new book. A scary prospect but she was a totally relaxed and brilliant model.

An afternoon of more meetings and getting to know lots of new people. I think that's pretty much going to be the plan for the next few days. It's funny, moving from an organisation  with a staff team of two to one of seventy, I feel like it's going to take months to properly settle in.
