First Christmas lunch

WI members gathered today at a local golf club for our Christmas lunch. We were seated at large round tables and were served a delicious lunch. I chose to have turkey and all the trimmings, and it was such a huge portion I couldn’t finish it.

Before the lunch I had been at a meeting at Denbies where our local branch of the Talking Newspaper met with a neighbouring edition to see if we could join forces in any way. Some changes were made in the way we work but my editorial duties will not be changing for which I am relieved. We will continue to provide an edition every two weeks.
