Soda bread

While in Florida we stopped at this grocery store with Sandy for her to pick up some coffee and a few other things she needed. In the freezer section was frozen Irish soda bread..2 loaves for 1.50! So I bought 2 packages since we had the cooler and could keep it cold on the way home. We made a loaf at Tom’s and it was really good! First time eating this type of bread.

I put another loaf in the oven set on warm to bake for us today. It has to rise about double and then I will bake it for 40 minutes. The bread has raisins which looks like an eye in this photo.

A drizzly rain falling today so I have been doing chores. Now it is time to get back to reading. It felt strange not to read for so many days.
