A small step for an adult but a huge one for a small dog.

Lucky to get an outdoor blip today. I was expecting two ‘fitters’ at 9 o’clock or a bit after (the words of one of the office staff) to fit two new outside doors . . . a morning’s work for two.

9.30 passed and when it got to 9.45 I phoned the office to check they were on their way. Yes she said but I’ll ring and check where they are and call you back. 10 o’clock she phoned me. They had been sent to another job first and would be here between 11 and 12. I walked down the hill for a bit of shopping and to warm up.

11.30 and one fitter arrived. 4 hours later he’d fitted one door. Another appointment will be made for the other door. Not the happiest customer today.
