Popping out to use the ATM is so much more time consuming since many of the smaller places closed at the height of the pandemic. There’s no such thing as 24 hour banking here, ATM machines are installed inside small rooms with sliding doors that close overnight or you have to go into the bank instead.

On my quick trip I was amazed to see the pachinko parlours super busy - on a Monday! Made parking my bicycle a challenge! First work problems, I know!
