Egyptian Goose - Alopochen aegyptiacus

Charmaine and Anrie noticed this when they drove past a house in the complex where Anrie stays this morning. Eisch, no camera in the car, only iPhone! I wish I could show you this a bit clearer!

Read more about them here, they are actually beautiful creatures and I don't think they normally sit on roofs, do they? What I do know, from reading about them in Wikipedia, is that both sexes are aggressively territorial towards their own species when breeding and frequently pursue intruders into the air, attacking them in aerial "dogfights". They may even kill another's offspring for their own offsprings' survival as well as for more resources.

Please DO check it out in LARGE, and even enlarge your screen display a bit if you can, they posed so beautifully for Charmaine!
