Tablue

The knee is on the mend but not yet mended. But this meant that I could watch C and the rest of the OU orchestra (J, M, D and, in fact all of the other letters) without feeling that I was missing out.

So I did. Which was good because I suspect that C isn't fooled by the generic reviews that I might otherwise be tempted to improvise in order to convince her that I was in attendance ("It was very good. My favourite bit? Ooh, that would be that bit when it went quite loud in the middle?").

I always have to explain away the way I failed to notice the bit when the First Violins came in too early or the 2nd flute played a G Natural instead of a G Sharp or the Conductor's trousers fell down.

But no such problems today. They were exceptionally good (Dvorak's "From the New World"). Although I do wonder whether the 2nd flute should really have played that G Natural...
